On the Move

Brecken learned how to pull himself up and walk around things. It takes him about five seconds to stand up by the hearth of the fireplace. Then he walks to the other end of the fireplace and walks over to one of his toys that he can lean on. He thinks this is really cool! Today he walked over to his piano and started playing.

Daddy was watching Brecken the other day and he let him get into the CD's. Brecken has been crawling toward them for weeks, so he was very excited when he finally got to pull them off of the shelf. We are going to get a new media unit soon!

Grandma bought Brecken a new toy last week. It is the walker/truck below. He loves to pull himself up on it and beep the horn. He hasn't figured out how to walk with it yet, but I'm sure he will by my next blog. The kitty (tiki) is still Brecken's favorite toy. They have a new game that they play. It is called wave your hands/paws at each other. They bat their hands at each other and sometimes they even make contact. When this happens, Brecken laughs and laughs. It is really cute!

I have been busy learning!

This is a picture of Brecken taking his first shower. He loved it!
Brecken got a cold the week after Christmas which turned into an ear infection. He finished his medication last weekend and he is doing much better. We were lucky because this was the first time that he was sick and he was happy most of the time. Of course, he doesn’t like having his nose cleaned, but I wouldn’t either.

This is Brecken's buddy Trenton. He visited him over Christmas from Connecticut
Trenton likes to scream for fun. We found out that Brecken is terrified of screaming. As you will see from the picture below....Isn't that the saddest face you have ever seen!

He is now crawling will full force. I have a feeling that my blogging is going to be very limited because he is fast and I need to stay in the same room when he is a awake. He likes to crawl over to the vertical blinds and pull on them. Of course, the outlets are fun (thank god for those covers), he also likes the cats food bowl. He goes over to his highchair and grabs the Cheerio box when he is hungry. As you can see, I have my hands full.
